Richard Bishel, the CEO of Vehicle Radar Guidance, LLC, holds over 30 years of expertise in electronics and industry standards for commercial trucks. His background includes roles at PACCAR Technical Center, Daimler Trucks North America, and Vechatronics.

Renowned for his pioneering work, Bishel introduced advanced safety systems like adaptive cruise control, collision warning, blind spot detection, and lane departure warning on Freightliner trucks in the late '90s. His extensive experience in radar-guided vehicles, backed by research at The Ohio State University and PACCAR, defines his leadership at Vehicle Radar Guidance. Bishel has contributed to several IEEE and SAE papers in the field.
